Our story
In 2020, right in the middle of COVID, our story with Jani came together, which culminated in the Klippers.
But I'll go back a bit...
I come from the world of barbering and hairdressing, where I constantly had the feeling that there was no online or physical shop where I could provide real professional help. No matter where you are from, someone who distributes machines and in many cases also products, an online store or shop owner, has never cut an orphaned hair. I'm lying, maybe she trimmed her Yorkie with some Wahl Pet Grooming machine...
So how can you help with questions like whether the Magic faceplate fits the Legend (spoiler: it doesn't), what makes a ceramic blade better (or worse) than its traditional counterparts, or what a DLC coated blade is?
There are hundreds and hundreds of similar questions and answers in this profession, we also need serious research for 1-1 answers, then imagine how blind a person can be who has never used a professional hair clipper, contour clipper or hair fixing products.
Distributing and using are not the same thing!
Then, around the end of 2020, we ran into Jani, who was looking for a business to spend her precious free time (and money, haha), and I prayed at night to the Cecília Müller frisko above my bed, so that I could reopen my existing businesses, because the herring in the fridge was running out.
Then the free time freed up due to COVID turned out to be useful in the end, not only did I reach level 160 in Warzone, but I managed to put together the KLIPPERS 1.0 web store while waiting in the lobby.
We didn't expect much success either at the beginning or afterwards, and then suddenly that particular barrier broke.
I was well-known in the industry, as were my friends, who helped the online store suddenly take off, but I'm sure it wouldn't have been possible if we hadn't felt a very sharp wound in our industry. You felt that for the first time we were selling things that other stores "didn't stoop to".
We bent over backwards, we knew what we needed/you needed. From there, everything came naturally, we knew we were heading in the right direction.
Then one thing followed another, we didn't want to remain "just" an online store, we wanted to somehow unite the Hungarian community. Our LEARNZ digital educational side kick project came, domestic events either organized by ourselves or partners, the very popular KLIPPERS ONLINE BATTLE, our vlog and podcast episodes, and then perhaps the tip of the spear, our SELECTED by klippers project, where we wanted barbers with a similar mentality to us. to come together so that we can fulfill ourselves artistically.
We don't know how long or where our journey will lead, but one thing is for sure, we have enjoyed every step of it so far!
Kisses to the family
