The Babyliss brand was born in 1961 as a French brand. Since the beginning, it has offered a wide range of hair styling and hair care products for both consumers and professionals.

The Pro brand family is specifically aimed at professionals, within which they adapt their new products to the needs of the American/Canadian barber market. It is no coincidence that their research & development department was moved overseas, thus indicating the direction that the manufacturer has set for itself. Continuous innovative approach, extravagant appearance, and plenty of variations in appearance, which make the Babyliss brand recognizable from afar.

Among barbers, BaByliss, until then considered a somewhat "feminine" brand, made a real breakthrough with its Skeleton type contour cutter, which immediately became legendary upon its appearance, with its unprecedented power, precision and irritation-free cutting performance. To this day, we refer to the Skeleton as an industry standard, we measure every new contour cutter willy-nilly against it, which indicates the machine's unbroken top list status to this day.
After that, there was no stopping, with plenty of new machines specifically for the barber market, new colors, exclusive editions and industry innovations.
Their collaboration with Ferrari, which was launched in 2010, is particularly interesting. The hair-cutting engines developed together with the Italian car manufacturer can deliver enormous power with minimal vibration.
