Did you know why orange is Mizutani's color?

In the case of Mizutani scissors, the manufacturing process takes place at extremely high temperatures, for example when the parts are welded together. During the welding process, the steel glows orange, so choosing this pure, elemental creative process as our symbol, orange became our main color.

The really clean and sharp tips and the light components are the characteristics of the Cut S series.

The new design and the orange adjustment screw make the Cut S series an exceptionally precise tool.

EXTRAMARISE® is a special heat treatment, specially developed for the production technology of hair cutting scissors, using the data and knowledge gathered by MIZUTANI over the years. The same metal can provide completely different performance, which is due to different heat treatment processes. In order to maximize the special qualities of these rare metals (cobalt, molybdenum, vanadium, and others), we added the largest possible amount to our products, thus achieving the ideal metal mixture for hair cutting scissors.
