Young Soo Park is a famous and recognized Japanese hairdresser in his home country, but he has also worked in London, Paris, and Vancouver.
In the 1980s, he grew tired of not finding high-quality combs anywhere on the market, so he decided to develop his own brand.

The "separating tooth" and the holes on the back of the combs (which are used to measure hair length) are Young Soo's innovations for hairdressers. His 339 model has become an industry standard; all other brands' combs are most often compared to it.
